We all arrived safe and sound and have already had a busy week.  We are divided into 4 teams at 4 separate homes.  The work is varied but luckily no mold remediation is involved.  The work varies from installing wood floors, tile work, grouting, cleaning, setting vanities, etc etc.  We all feel like we are doing rewarding work being the hands and feet of Jesus.  Some teams have met homeowners and heard the stories they have to tell.  Today we enjoyed a 1/2 day off and toured the areas of devastation to see the progress.  Progress has been made we feel.  We were able to see the area that Brad Pitt is rehabbing with the Make It Right Foundation.  Tonight we will be served dinner from the congregation of the church we are staying at.  All in all the week  so far has been a mix of hard work, fun, fellowship, laughter and love between all of us.
